These two types of kitchen furniture are very different from the point of view of Deep Painting, the upper one (as it is closed) presents a frontal plane that prevents knowing what it contains (unless it is obviously opened) but the lower one allows the movement of the frontal plane towards the wall, allowing the contents to be seen. With a little imagination one could conceive multiple intermediate planes, total or partial, oblique or parallel and in different types of depths.
